# Inspection and Audit Management v7.8

## Inspection Report PDF designer

- Enables inspection template owners to design and configure detailed inspection and audit reports that are exportable to PDF
- Automatically generate and download formatted inspection reports upon completion of inspection and audit tasks

## Inspection template-based permissions

- Template-based access controls on inspections and audits enable template owners to control which users in the organization can create and complete inspections that use their templates.
- Enables users to create personalized, private inspection templates or shared templates that anyone in the organization can use.

## Redesigned inspection center

- New Inspection Center page layout that provides easier access to inspections and audits assigned to the user and their groups.

## Other Enhancements & Bug fixes

- Added the ability to mark questions as optional or required on inspection templates. Required questions must be answered before an inspection task can be closed.
- Added the ability to define additional question instructions in HTML format. Template owners can provide detailed instructions, scoring guidance, and how-to guides with images on each question.
- Updated modal experience for creating new inspections that enable users to easily browse the hierarchy of entities within their organization (e.g. org units, establishments, zones, assets, etc)
- Resolved issue on inspection scheduler where users are unable to remove filters on the "manually selected entities" list
- Fixed "null" hover over for created Findings/Actions on Inspection Tasks
- Fixed issue where advanced reference qualifiers not working on modals in the Workspace
- Fixed issue where Inspection Manager/Admin does not inherit Core Manager/Admin roles.
