# Serenity - Core v8.4

## **Risk Management Enhancements**

- **Step-Based Risk Assessments**
  - New template property enables step-based assessments
  - Users can identify all steps in a process (e.g., job steps in a JHA)
  - Hazards can be tied directly to the specific step where they occur
- **Streamlined Experience**
  - Updated the risk assessment task page to reduce the number of save buttons.
  - Replaced with logic to automatically save changes as users change focus.
- **Dedicated Findings & Actions Tab**
  - Redesigned the recommendations tab, making it easier to review and manage all findings and corrective/preventive actions identified during risk assessments.

## **Application Settings Page**

- Introduced a new page to the Serenity workspace allowing application admins to adjust common configurations without having to leave the workspace.

## **Bug Fixes**

- Compliance Calendar fails when selecting weekly timeline view
- Able to submit OpCom task with invalid start / due date values
- Modal viewports on SEHS Record Collection style issues
- Timeline event created when Fishbone methodology is selected
- Query ACL Security Attribute fixes
- Random error when opening incident and activity stream fails to load.
- Report Designer: Error empty state displays when no reports exist
