Completing Inspections & Audits

Prev Next

Once all questions have been answered and any required information has been provided, the final step is to complete the inspection. The system walks the user through a structured closure process to ensure the inspection is accurate, complete, and review-ready. Here's how it works:

Attempting to Complete the Inspection

Clicking the "Complete inspection" button at the top of the page initiates the closure process. If there are any unanswered or incomplete questions, or if required notes, attachments, or issues have not been added where needed, a modal will appear listing the items that still need to be addressed.

🛑 Users will not be able to proceed past this screen until all required data is provided.

Confirmation to Complete

Once all questions and required inputs are completed, the user is shown a confirmation prompt that states all requirements have been met. The user can then proceed by clicking “Yes, complete”.

Provide Closure Notes and Request Review

Next, the user has the option to:

  • Add close notes (e.g. context or comments for the reviewer)

  • Request a review by selecting one or more users This step promotes transparency and allows follow-up if needed.

Signature Confirmation

Before the inspection is officially closed, the user is required to sign the task electronically. They can either type their name or draw their signature and must check a box to confirm the accuracy of the inspection results.

Once closed, the inspection state updates to “Closed Complete” and all questionnaire content becomes read-only. The user can no longer modify responses unless the inspection is reopened.
